Is this a rut?

Perhaps one of the things that anyone who creates anything goes through from time to time is block. These things tend to be self-perpetuation--if you won't draw, you don't draw, and the block never lifts. Same for writing. The last year I don't think I've written even 5,000 words of original fiction. That's not only unheard of for me, but it's pretty terrible no matter how you look at it. The school I was at for a while was aggressively boring and unchallenging--something which I shrugged off as making life easier for me in the past--and I suppose, as a consequence, I just stopped being forced to formulate new ideas. Colleges

So I applied to a total of 8 colleges last year. Frankly, I wasn't sure I would get into any of them--for whatever reason, I applied to all these really prestigious or at least well known schools, and was practically headdesking myself for not lowering the bar for them. Picking the Lit paper was an easy decision, but I had to choose one another as well, and they were all subjects that I either had no knowledge in, or was just completely mediocre at. In the end, I decided to take the US history test, because it would be less broad than the World History test, and it's a humanity, which I tend to do better at. However, after taking a practice test and coming out with something around a 600, I was absolutely ter

Hello! I came here to tell you that your art is very creative and cute! I was wondering if I could use one of your drawings for a Tumblr blog; of course, we will credit you! Thank you very much in advance, and have a great day :)
pidgeeontoe, have you already received your price at turning tables contest?
Unfortunately, no. They're talking a long time, aren't they, hahaha!
I agree, Maybe the admins just are at school ( I didn't have time to draw since I went back to highschool too ). I didn't receive mine too.
:iconthinkingplz:
Haha, the admins are all adults and come online relatively frequently. However they do go through a lot of messages everyday. Nevertheless, they're usually much more timely.
